Message that something I said was incorrect. Care to elaborate?

:First, the SPL arms were not really an SPL design. In fact, they were not even a Z32 design. They were made for the R32 and just happened to fit on a Z32 The problem was with the lack of an offset with the arm. That was the reason for the crushed collars. The turnbuckle would not break but there was not a lack of problems altogether.
:If one believed they were truly an SPL design, it could be seen as a design flaw.

I don't think anyone has ever claimed it was an SPL design. I never believed it to be

The simple fact of the matter is that they were actually installation errors because they were never meant for the Z32.

That depends on your perspective. At the time I purchased my arms, Powertrix upper arms had the same inferior shielded bearings as Top Speed and a myriad of other ebay vendors.

I purchased a set of these:

The unsealed bearings were already failing due to contamination, and they were brand new! At the time, these looked EXACTLY the same as what powertrix was offering. I returned the top speed units and bought SPL, as they were the only vendor at the time offering the correct sealed bearings. So in essence, I picked the lesser of two installation errors, as it would have been an error to install upper arms with the wrong bearings. I had to ride Charles' ass long and hard to get him to change to the proper sealed bearing, remember?

:The only issue I have is that people erroneously think they are leaps and bounds better than Powertrix when, in reality, many of their products are built by the same company in Korea.

I agree that products that are made by the same manufacturer would be equal no matter how they are branded. SPL no longer sells KTS coilovers, so what are the "many products" that you are referring to?
